What you get

Everything we deliver.

  • 01

    Surface prep, patch, & prime

Wash, sand, patch, caulk, mask, prime. The prep is 70% of a great paint job — and 100% of why most cheap paint jobs fail in two years.

  • 02

    Interior whole-house & single-room

Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinetry. Low-VOC paints so you can sleep in the room the night we finish. Color consultation included on whole-house projects.

  • 03

    Exterior coastal-grade paint

Stucco, siding, fascia, eaves. 100% acrylic and elastomeric systems rated for South Bay salt air and UV. We use Sherwin-Williams Duration, Benjamin Moore Aura, or Dunn-Edwards Evershield depending on substrate.

  • 04

    Cabinet refinishing

Strip, sand, prime, spray. Lacquer, conversion varnish, or modern water-based 2K finishes — the kind of finish that actually holds up to kitchen use, not the kind that chips in six months.

  • 05

    Color matching & custom finishes

Custom color match, lime-wash, plaster effects, hand-troweled Venetian, and specialty metallic finishes. We mock-up before we commit a whole wall.

How we run it

Scope to sign-off.

  1. 01

    Walk & quote

Walk every room or every exterior elevation, identify substrate issues, talk about colors and finish levels. Itemized quote with product spec — not a number on a napkin.

  2. 02

    Prep the surfaces

Move furniture, floor covering, painter's tape on every edge, fill nail holes, sand glossy surfaces, caulk gaps. Prime spots that need it. We don't paint over problems.

  3. 03

    Apply coats

Cut in by brush, roll the field, two finish coats minimum. Spray cabinetry and doors off-site or in a containment booth for a factory finish. Daily clean-up; the house is livable every night.

  4. 04

    Walk & touch up

Walk every wall in the room's lighting, fix anything that catches the eye, leave labeled touch-up cans, written warranty. We make sure you'd hire us again.

FAQ

Common questions.

How long does it take to paint a house?
Single room: 1–2 days. 3-bedroom interior repaint: 4–7 days. Full exterior on a 2,500 sq ft South Bay home: 1–2 weeks depending on prep needs. Cabinet refinishing typically adds 5–7 days.
Can I live in the house during painting?
Yes. We use low-VOC and zero-VOC paints (Benjamin Moore Aura, Sherwin-Williams Harmony) so the off-gassing is minimal. We seal off the working room each night and you can sleep in the rest of the house. For whole-house, we phase room-by-room.
How long should an exterior paint job last in the South Bay?
Done right: 8–12 years on stucco, 6–10 years on wood siding. Salt air and direct UV are tough on paint — we spec coastal-grade products (typically rated 25 years by the manufacturer in interior climates, half that on the coast). Annual washing extends the life significantly.
Can you match an existing paint color?
Yes. We use a spectrophotometer to match existing colors in your home, or we work from the original color chip if you have it. Most homeowners don't realize their original paint has faded — we can match the current color, or the original, depending on what you want.
Do you handle lead paint on pre-1978 homes?
Yes. Our crew carries EPA RRP certification, required by federal law for any pre-1978 home renovation that disturbs paint. We test, contain, and document — important for many older South Bay homes in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes.
What's the warranty on residential painting?
Two-year workmanship warranty on every job from DECOMA, plus the manufacturer's product warranty (typically 7–25 years on premium products). For repeat clients we honor warranty walks past the formal term.
