Redondo Beach design-build contractor.

Why this work

Redondo Beach — built to local rules.

Redondo Beach is where our residential portfolio runs deepest. South Redondo's older lots, North Redondo's newer builds, the Riviera's hillside homes — we know the dirt, the planners, and the inspectors.

How Redondo Beach is different.

Redondo runs its own Building & Safety. The City has been steadily tightening green-building, T-24, and short-term-rental rules over the last decade — and the rules change often enough that a contractor who isn't paying attention will hand you a problem at framing. Ours don't.

Where we've worked.

Whole-house renovations in South Redondo, ground-up customs in the Riviera, and multifamily redevelopment along Catalina Avenue. The Raymond Estate and the South Redondo Triplex in our portfolio both started as Redondo Beach lots.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you build ADUs in Redondo Beach?
Yes. Detached, attached, and JADUs — both ground-up and garage conversions. We pull through Redondo Beach B&S directly and align to the city's specific ADU setback and parking rules.
Can you handle hillside builds in the Redondo Beach Riviera?
Yes. Soils, drainage, and structural detailing for sloped lots are routine for us. Many of our Palos Verdes builds carry similar engineering, and we use the same geotechnical consultants.
How long has DECOMA built in Redondo Beach?
Since 1978. Some of our oldest repeat residential clients are Redondo homeowners we built for in the eighties and have come back to for kitchen, bath, and ADU work decades later.
