Los Angeles general contractor.

Why this work

Los Angeles — built to local rules.

Los Angeles is the broadest part of our footprint — from downtown adaptive reuse to West LA tenant improvements to the kind of long-tail residential work that comes from clients who've moved across town and called us again. CSLB A and B; everything in-house.

How Los Angeles is different.

LA permitting runs through LADBS for the city and through LA County for unincorporated areas. The difference matters. We've worked both sides for forty years and know which projects move faster where — and which inspector to call when a corrections sheet doesn't make sense.

Where we've worked.

Adaptive-reuse lofts in DTLA — Mission District, Toy Lofts, Eastside, Broadway — and the institutional projects that anchor the cultural corridor: Inner City Arts under the Mark Taper Foundation, the Pritikin Longevity Center, and the Westfield Century City retail line.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you work outside the South Bay?
Yes. We're licensed across California (CSLB #375508 A/B). Most of our commercial portfolio is in greater LA — downtown, West LA, Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire — and we travel to job sites across LA County.
What's your largest LA project type?
Adaptive reuse and multifamily renovation. We did some of LA's earliest for-sale loft conversions, and that work has continued into ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, and institutional buildings.
Can you handle both LADBS and LA County permits?
Yes. Both. We've worked both jurisdictions for four decades and carry our paperwork through plan-check directly. No third-party expediters.
