The work
Project notes
Working with Michael Maltzman of Frank Gehry, and Marmol & Radziner Architects for the Mark Taper Center, DECOMA’s construction team transformed an unreinforced masonry auto repair shop into an art education center.
Glass, sectional roll-up doors open the interior spaces of this inner-city workshop to an exterior courtyard with an adjacent ceramics facility.
All work was completed in accordance with the Office of the State Architect requirements with DECOMA as the engineer of record.
