Based on plans by EQE, DECOMA retrofitted 18 buildings on the McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Monrovia campus.
Working in occupied and high-security areas of the campus, DECOMA installed K-frames, rod braces, steel frames, shear walls, gunite (sprayed concrete) and completed extensive finishing work.
After reducing costs by over $2 million and completing three years ahead of schedule, DECOMA was awarded McDonnell Douglas’ Golden Eagle for vendor of the year.
